J Dilla Recording equipment is moving to the Smithsonian
The late J Dilla is considered royalty in hip hop and production realm, revered by his peers as one of the greatest minds to come from the genre. During a career that spanned over a decade, he helped to create a slew of classics, with artists like A Tribe Called Quest, Slum Village, Common, and Black Star. Along with molding careers he has also been a heavily influence on his peers and newcomers looking for that raw sound. Unfortunately, during the pivotal time of his career he was taken from us in 2006, due to complications with Lupus, but his legacy lives on forever. Adding to his legacy, the Smithsonian announced their plans to make sure that a piece of Dilla’s life will stay in the public eye for all time.
With the corporation of Ma Dukes (James Yancey’s mother) and intended to be housed in the Museum of African American History And Culture. Jaydee’s famous MPC and his Moog, which was one of the last made by the late technician, will be on display at The Smithsonian. he adds an impressive cast of musical greats in Jimi Hendrix’s guitar and James Brown’s Cape. It is a move that definitely needed to happen, he means too much for culture not to be recognized in some fashion. We are excited to visit it in 2016.
THIS IS BIG FOR HIP HOP AND BLACK CREATIVITY AS A WHOLE.

Fashawn joins Boldy James and Bishop Nehru as recent signees to Nas' Mass Appeal Records
Fresno, CA MC, Fashawn is officially signed to Nas' Mass Appeal Records. In a recent interview with Vlad TV, The Fresno State MC explains how he was ready to give up on rap before the Nas deal, tells rappers what to stop rapping about and announces his release date.
In a recent press release, Nas stated that Fashawn is one of the most underrated MC’s and “the world is gonna know soon”. Fashawn tells about his mindset before getting the Nas call.
"Before this whole Nas thing happened, I was really discouraged with rap. I was not excited about the future of Hip Hop. I was doing other things. But, getting the call from Nas just lit the fire again. Really just got me ready to kill everything in my path.
Fashawn gives the fan a date for the follow up to his 2009 Boy Meets World. Ecology is set to drop September 30th. After giving the date, He gives advice to rappers out right now:
"This is what I want to tell rappers to do.I want to tell them to stop rapping about four thigns: money, weed, b*tches and clothes. Stop rapping about that and really go inside. Really talk to society. Not just talk about society but talk to them."
West Detroit MC, Boldy James was Nas First signing. His catolog is strong, having a collab album with Alchemist.
Bishop Nehru, 17 year old New York MC is a breath of fresh air in the game.
I look forward to hearing a compilation soon with this team.

New Law Passed allowing the INTERNET to be CENSORED!!!! (We need to Wake up!!!)
Google Is Being Forced To Censor The History Of Merrill Lynch
The European Union's new law giving people a "right to be forgotten," which requires Google to remove links to information about them, is having exactly the effect its critics predicted: It is censoring the internet, giving new tools that help the rich and powerful (and ordinary folk) hide negative information about them, and letting criminals make their histories disappear.
Mario Coteja Gonzalez sued Google because he wanted the 1998 auction of his foreclosed home taken down citing it as "inadequate, irrelevant or no longer relevant". A few days ago, he won his suit.
Now — at question here is whether or not the firing of a CEO of a major international company could ever be called "irrelevant."
Also, Business Insider previously noted that deletion requests were granted for a former politician who wanted to remove links to a news article about his behavior when previously in office — so that he can have a clean slate when running for a new position — and a man who was convicted of possessing child sexual abuse imagery.
So pedophiles can take advantage of this law as well.
Forget.me, a company that expedites Google deletion requests, tells Business Insider that it is fielding 250 requests per day. Here's a breakdown of what is being deleted from the world's greatest search engine:
"There is an argument that in removing the blog, Google is confirming the fears of many in the industry that the 'right to be forgotten' will be abused to curb freedom of expression and to suppress legitimate journalism that is in the public interest," BBC writer Robert Peston says
