Boogie Returns to Sway In The Morning, Again.... (Freestyle)
Dame DOLLA (Damian Lillard) - Soldiers in the Game
Ever since the golden-era of Hip-Hop, basketball has by all means adopted it's culture. It has been evident in the dress, talk, and attitudes of players and teams. Along with the swagger, Players has attempted to try their hands on the Mic and has had mediocre success or epic fails. The most respected and accomplished basketball player to spit has been Shaquille Oneal, who has albums that went Platinum and Gold. Well Shaq might not be the only BBall star with lyrical ability for long.
Star Point Guard and Oakland Native Damian Lillard has been taking the culture very seriously as of late. Dame first showed the world he was serious when he showcased his bars on the Sway In The Morning Show freestyle segment. He has also created an interactive community of MC's and lovers of Hip Hop with the 4 bar Friday Challenge. A few days ago the Portland Trailblazers PG released a freestyle over Future's F*ck Up Some Commas and didn't disappoint. There is no said date of when a album will drop, but it might be worth keeping a ear open for it.
